Notre Dame Basilica at Dusk

From its humble beginnings in the mid 1600′s as a Jesuit chapel, this basilica has undergone major changes and expansions over the decades. The basilica, as it is today, is partly inspired by the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris.

The site, at its peak, sees some 2,500 visitors per day and has been the location of numerous events including state funerals, major speeches, cultural activities and more.
