La célèbre basilique Notre-Dame a ses racines dans les années 1600 et a subi de nombreuses modifications et reconstruction, plus récemment après un incendie en 1978. La basilique a été l’hôte de funérailles et mariages célèbres et represente un joyau architectural de Montreal.
